Driftless Roads USA - A wonderful site that maps 40+ great day rides along the entire Driftless area between the Twin Cities and Dubuque IA.  ~250 miles in each section!! Also many other routes across the nation too.   Purchase and download GPS routes or order waterproof paper copies too!

WI DOT county maps - Very detailed road maps of each county that can be downloaded as colored PDFs. Many other maps and other info on this site too!

WI DOT Rustic Roads maps - A great set special roads in the state.  Scroll down to the full Wis map and pick a region.  A mix of paved and gravel roads.

Area Attractions - Google map with bike destinations, scenic lookouts, local festivals, places to eat, etc in the Soldiers Grove region.  A few things no longer exist (Ron Pasold Cycle Art) or are held in a different location (Wis Trials), but this gives you some great ideas!

Best Biking Roads - Wisconsin - Lots of ads, but you can drill down to routes and see ratings for twisties, scenary, road surfaces, etc.

Wisconsin Roads - Naming Conventions

Here is a little primer if you need it.

• Numbered Roads - State Highway roads (e.g. Hwy 35, 60, 171). See State Trunk Tours for attractions on our 70+ State Highways
• Lettered or Alphabet Roads - Our County Highways. We use letters (County S, AB, CCC) versus numbers!  The more letters, the smaller and the less they are maintained.  See Wisconsin County Roads Naming Conventions
• Named Roads - Township Roads.  Use the name to help guide the type of scenery you want to see.  Most are paved, but you'll run into gravel in the less populated areas.  If it has 'Hollow' in the name, you'll be going thru a small valley with steep hills around it.  Obviously 'Ridge' or 'View' will take you past some scenic views or overlooks.
