- Country Gardens Motel and Lounge - This is their Facebook link, as they don't have a working website. You can used the booking link or QR Code on the Facebook Page to reserve a room. It's a nice motel with an attached bar / restaurant which serves great food. Less than a mile from the Rally. Book early. Only 14 rooms available. Do not use the GoDaddy Link found in Google Maps searches. Located at 100 Sunbeam Blvd E. Ph: 608-624-3254 Manager Tasha can be reached directly at 608-632-2570.
- The Old Oak Inn and Acorn Lounge - B&B “just up the hill” about 3 blocks from Rally Central. Take your cycle or just walk. A great porch to hang out on and a bar with food attached to the Inn. The new owners are Homer and Debbie who bought it in March 2020. Wonderful place and food! 608–624–5217
- Tobacco Warehouse Inn - New upscale Inn. A stone's throw from the rally site! Unique. ph. 608–624–5999
Viroqua, WI Within the past 10-15 years, this town has become known for the food options and vibrant downtown. Only 15 miles from Rally Central. Lots of places to stay, including Motels and B&Bs. Here are just a few of them:
- Hickory Hills Motel - Nice basic motel on Hwy 14, on the south side of town, so closest to the Rally. S5539 US Hwy 14. ph. 608-637-3104
- AmericInn - This pleasant chain hotel is on the north side of town. 1325 N Main St. ph. 608-699-9038
- Hotel Fortney - Upscale restored hotel right downtown and next door to the award winning Driftless Cafe. 100 N Main St. ph. 608-638-3100
Boscobel, WI on the Wisconsin River has a number of motels and is approximately 20 miles from Rally Central. A nice ride down Hwy 61 S.
Richland Center, WI is 27 miles from Rally Central and has chain as well as Mom and Pop motels. Take Hwy 61 N to 14 E, or explore some beautiful back roads and county highways! Like 61 S to 171 (Boaz) to E and lastly Q.

Hi Larry. Please check back now. There are additional lodging information, etc on the website now in the news and GR3 page. I’ve been told that the Soldiers Grove website isn’t working, so I’ll be asking them about that.

Thanks for the info Craig. Sorry, I’m supposed to have comments forwarded to my email, but this one didn’t seem to make it. Not sure if I can respond to you in this manner, but will try. I’ll contact Soldiers Grove as they may not have re-registered with Go Daddy, or something like that. I’m able to get to the Soldiers Grove web page thru my iphone and 2 browsers (Chrome and Edge) on my laptop. Link is: http://soldiersgrove.com/ . I did notice that on my laptop, the first page has a spinning icon, trying to load an image or video. If you just page down, you can see and access things. I would also try clearing your browser cache, closing all open browser windows, and try opening it again. One last note: Depending on your browser, it may say that the site is ‘unsecure’. This is OK as long as you aren’t entering any private info, such as credit card numbers. Thanks. Jim
