About Us
The Madison BMW Club was founded in 1968 as the 'Madison BMW and Touring Club', an organization of riders who wanted to see Wisconsin from the saddles of BMW and other shaft-driven motorcycles (a rarity in those days). In the early 1970's, it was reorganized as the Madison BMW Club Ltd., receiving charter #7 from the then-new BMW Motorcycle Owners of America. The Club is also chartered with the BMW Riders Association International (Charter #5).
